Guangxi Medical University Adult Higher Education
The school was founded on November 21, 1934 and is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The predecessor of the school was Guangxi Provincial Medical College, which was moved to Guilin in 1940; before 1949, the school moved its site seven times and changed its name three times during the war; it was renamed Guangxi Provincial Medical College in November 1949; it was entrusted with the direct leadership of the Central and Southern Health Department by the Central Ministry of Health in 1952; it was renamed Guangxi Medical College with the approval of the Central Ministry of Health in April 1953; it was moved back to its present site of Nanning City in July 1954
