I. Introduction to Thai Universities

There are a total of about 169 universities in Thailand, most of which are recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education (89 are listed on the Education and Foreign Affairs Supervision Information Network of the Chinese Ministry of Education);

There are 96 public universities in Thailand, including 41 royal universities, 10 government universities, 10 military and police colleges and universities, 26 autonomous universities, and 9 royal (titled) universities of technology. 73 private universities, of which 39 are private universities, 23 are private colleges, and 11 are private research institutes.

Rajabhat Universities System Royal University System, totaling 41, Royal Universities are state-run public universities established by the Thai Parliament through the Royal Universities Act, financed by the Royal and governmental coffers, with the Ministry of Education being responsible for their services and management, and are mainly responsible for cultivating human resources for the nation and the localities. The Royal University of Phetchaburi (Kanchanaburi Rajabhat Universiy) is one of the 41 Royal Universities.

II. About the University

Royal Phetchaburi University (RPU) is a national institution of higher learning in Phetchaburi Province, Thailand. RPU was established in 1973 as a university to develop local education through the development of Phetchaburi Teachers' Training College.

Royal University of Phetchaburi has five faculties: Faculty of Teacher Education, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Technology, and Faculty of Management. The university offers more than 40 undergraduate programs, 4 master's programs and 1 doctoral program, such as Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Physical Education and Sport, Food Science, Financial Management, Information Management, Tourism, Law, Music, Journalism and Management, English for Tourism, English, Mathematics, Pre-school Education, Journalism and Communication, and Sociology as well as 4 master's programs such as Science Education, Development of Social Sciences, Educational Evaluation, Educational Administration, and Administrative Education. Four master's degree programs and a doctoral program in administrative education management development.

Program Description:

Teaching Mode: Full English

Target: fresh/former high school, junior college or vocational high school graduates

Mode of study: Full-time lectures, students who have completed the credits in accordance with the requirements of the course syllabus and have a GPA of 2.0 or above, and meet the requirements of Thai undergraduates will be eligible for graduation after approval, and those who have excellent grades will be eligible for exemptions from the Master's Degree program of the University.

Application Materials for Undergraduate Admission

Academic materials: high school and equivalent graduates, provide a diploma, high school examination transcripts notarized certificate

Passport: Scanned copy of the front page of the applicant's private passport valid for more than 6 months.

ID card: Scanned front and back of the applicant's ID card valid for more than 6 months.

English related test scores: TOEFL/IBT=50+, IELTS=5.0 (If not, applicants are required to attend a written English test + interview organized by the University)

Undergraduate application form: fill in English

Electronic photo ID: one-inch electronic photo of the applicant himself/herself in the past year, without hat or glasses
